Erie-side bunkers do not keep one texture. After a lake storm they pack. After two weeks of sun they dust. A camber cut for only one of those days will betray you on the other.
The jar on Dory’s bench
We keep Erie-side sand in a jar so a head that “worked in Florida” can feel what 716 actually holds. Packed sand wants float and a leading edge that does not knife a trench. Dust wants enough bite that the face does not skate. The sit is a compromise written on the sheet, not a fantasy that both textures get a perfect letter.
If you only play one municipal with washed sand, say so. We will sit narrower. If you play the lake tracks after every dump, we sit for the pack first.
Harbor sit
About 50 minutes
Counted swings from a packed tray, then a dry tray. Crown and trail marked in millimetres. $95 for one wedge, or fold it into a nor’easter day with tight lie and bunk camber.
What we will not stamp
A “wide sole for all sand.” Wide is a magazine word. Width without camber still digs when the pack is wet cement. We cut the crown you need for the week you named.
